          2. Lisa notes that there was a lot of funding invested into the ODEI office recently.
          3. Bara asks if it was clarified that it would be staff or student? Consensus that this seems like an outside consultant.
          4. Sue feels like it is inappropriate to use student fee funding to hire an outside consultant.

General agreement towards misuse of student fees.

          1. Alvin motion to not fund, Maryann seconds. No objections, motion passes.

          1. Alvin suggests $12,500

Bara feels like this is a little high, Andy is not sure how he feels.

          1. Bara feels like 5,000 is more fair, Alvin suggests 5,000 unrestricted.
          2. Bara motion to funds 5,000 unrestricted, Liz seconds. No objections, motion passes.
        1. 58 Center for Racial Justice
          1. Liz suggests to prioritize student staff.
          2. Bara notes that a lot of folks proposed 1 grad student.
          3. Sue notes that the budget for a GSR would need to be bigger. Brynna says that we cannot provide tuition remission.
          4. Charlene motions to fund the graduate student, no objections.
          5. Charlene motions to fund 7927, Liz seconds. No objections, motion passes.
        2. 49 AI Eye Tracking
          1. Alvin motions to fund the minimum required funding, $257.
          2. Bara agrees for one student for 3 quarters.
        3. 53 Global Environmental Justice Conservatory
          1. Charlene motions to fund for one student employee for 4500, Bara seconds. No objections, motion passes.
        4. 51 Taza Tal
          1. Committee discusses 200, no stipulations
          2. Charlene believes in providing enough funding to support the program.
          3. Alvin understands that they are a student group, but they don’t feel like the largest priority to fund right now based on student impact.

Brynna asks how that reconciles to other student groups that have been funded.

          1. Liz proposes 500 unrestricted for their need, as they have cultural impact and student awareness. Charlene agrees, with a minimum of 200.
          2. Sue says that other groups funded impact more students on campus.
          3. Liz motions 300 no stipulation, Charlene seconds. No objections, motion passes.
      1. Trimming:
        1. The group revisits the proposals to find ways to reduce the over allocated funds.
        2. Quarry Amphitheater:
          1. Previous notes that it could be cut to one student employee if needed
          2. Charlene motions to reduce and fund 5500 for one student employee, Bara seconds. No objections, motion passes.
        3. 5 Global Programming
          1. The group discusses reducing funding from 10 to 7 students.
          2. Charlene motions to fund 9800, Bara seconds. No objections, motion passes.
        4. 11 Welcome Leaders
          1. The current 30,000 allocation is about 3,000/college.
          2. No decisions made.
        5. Gloria suggests going through proposals again, starting at the highest funded.
      2. Next week: Finish trimming, finalize allocations!
