Meeting Minutes
Present: Ashley John, Chase Hayes, Derek DeMarco, Adam Selcov, Veronica Mitry, Lucy Rojas
- Approval of Agenda, Minutes, Announcements
a. Approval of Agenda and Minutes tabled until there is quorum
b. Announcements
i. SFAC Funding Process: Ashley explains that she created a spreadsheet to capture consultation meetings. Please be sure to add in any groups that you meet with.
ii. Lucy announces that stipends for fall quarter will be paid out on
December 12th or 26th
iii.Mock Trial is involved in a fundraiser. Please consider donated $5
- Funding Proposal Workshop
a. There was a great turnout of SFAC members and attendees. There was positive
feedback from students and administrative groups.
b. Lucy shares that it was a wonderful way to educate about SFAC
c. Adam says it was good preparation for the funding call itself.
- Winter Quarter Meeting Time
a. Ashley shares that she is still working on confirming the meeting time. She is
waiting to hear from the Crown Rep. Looks like the meeting will be on Mondays at around the same time as this quarter for Friday mid-day.
- Women of Color Conference
a. We decided last week to fund this activity partially. There is money left over – what do we want to do with the left over. We can put into the reserves or put into this year’s funding call.
i. Adam suggests putting it in the funding pot. Veronica agrees.
ii. Ashley asks if there are any objections to putting it into the funding pot? There are no objections. Lucy will send out the minutes and ask folks to vote via email.
